Terms of Use

1. Agreement

These Terms of Use are an agreement between you and Holy Voltage Radio LLC. By accessing or using The Signal, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. The devotional service

The Signal provides original Christian devotional writing, limited Scripture references and summaries, reflection prompts, private device-local notes, progress tools, prerecorded read-aloud audio, and fixed Signal Radio listening queues. Features and content may be added, revised, reorganized, or removed as the service develops.

3. Faith and wellness disclaimer

The Signal offers general spiritual encouragement from a Christian perspective. It does not diagnose conditions, promise a particular spiritual or life outcome, or establish a professional, counseling, medical, legal, fiduciary, or clergy relationship.

If you are in immediate danger or facing an urgent health or safety situation, contact local emergency services or an appropriately qualified professional. Do not delay professional care because of something you read or hear in the app.

4. Personal-use license

Holy Voltage Radio LLC grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access The Signal for personal, noncommercial use. You may use the built-in share feature to send the short excerpt and direct link it provides, or share a branded reminder picture or Captured Moment created by the app for personal, noncommercial encouragement. You may also print or save a personal PDF copy of a Signal Guide for your own devotional use.

You may not reproduce, republish, sell, redistribute, scrape, create derivative collections from, train models on, publicly upload, or commercially exploit the devotionals, recordings, design, branding, or other protected material without written permission.

5. Intellectual property

The Signal name, Holy Voltage Radio branding, original devotional writing, prerecorded narration, artwork, interface, and related materials are owned by or licensed to Holy Voltage Radio LLC and the applicable rights holders. Scripture translations and quoted material, when used, remain subject to their respective owners’ rights and usage rules.

6. Acceptable use

• Do not interfere with, overload, probe, or bypass app security.
• Do not use the app to distribute malware, spam, or unlawful material.
• Do not misrepresent Holy Voltage Radio content as your own.
• Do not remove copyright, trademark, or attribution notices.
• Do not use automated systems to extract the devotional library.

7. Device-local information

Reflections, Prayer Pocket entries, Signal Check-Ins, tuned-in days, Captured Moments, My Frequency choices, Signal Drop seen status, Signal Radio station choice, Frequency Afterglow reviews, and progress are stored locally in the current version. You are responsible for protecting access to your device and for preserving anything you do not want to lose. Clearing browser data, changing browser profiles, or uninstalling the app may permanently remove local information.

8. Signal Plus subscriptions

Signal Plus checkout is not available until an active purchase button appears in the app. At the approved opening price, Signal Plus is offered for $4.99 per month or $39.99 per year (a savings of $19.89, 33.2%), plus any tax displayed at checkout. Stripe processes the transaction on a Stripe-hosted page. The checkout page controls the final price, currency, renewal interval, included benefits, and any legally required disclosures presented before payment.

Signal Plus is an automatically renewing subscription. Unless you cancel before the next renewal date, Stripe may charge the payment method on file for the next monthly or annual period. You can manage or cancel through the Stripe billing portal when available or by contacting hello@holyvoltageradio.com.

Cancellation stops future renewals but does not ordinarily reverse a charge already completed. Refund requests are handled according to the terms shown at checkout, applicable law, and the circumstances of the request. Erasing local app data or uninstalling the app does not cancel a subscription.

The core devotional library and Ivy listening experience remain available without a Signal Plus subscription. Current Plus benefits will be identified before checkout and may develop over time. Paid devotional downloads remain subject to the personal-use license in these terms.

9. Availability and updates

We work to keep The Signal useful and available, but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, permanent availability of every devotional, compatibility with every device, or freedom from errors. We may maintain, update, suspend, or discontinue features when reasonably necessary.

10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, The Signal is provided “as is” and “as available,” without implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted operation.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Holy Voltage Radio LLC and its members, contractors, licensors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from use of or inability to use the app.

11. Changes and contact
