Audio will not play

• Confirm your device volume is on and no other audio is playing.
• Tap Listen with Ivy again after the page finishes loading.
• Check the browser or device’s media permissions and network connection.
• Reload the app; your saved progress and notes should remain on that device.

Install The Signal

On iPhone or iPad, open the app website in Safari, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen. On supported Android browsers, open the browser menu and choose Install app or Add to Home screen.

Supported devices may also show shortcuts for Today, Frequencies, Saved Signals, and Carry Mode when you press and hold the installed app icon.

Use Tune My Signal

Choose Tune My Signal near the top of Today or inside Frequencies, then select the sentence that comes closest to what you need from God right now. The app recommends one existing devotional and explains why it may be a helpful place to begin.

The recommendation is made from a fixed set of Holy Voltage Radio devotional matches. It does not use artificial intelligence, create a profile, or save or send the need you select.

Build My Frequency

Open Frequencies and choose Build My Frequency. Select the season that feels closest and what you want God to grow. The app then arranges seven existing Holy Voltage Radio devotionals into a personal path and shows the opening Signal before you save it.

Every day remains open, so you can follow the path at your pace. Completed Signals update the path automatically. Choose Rebuild My Frequency whenever your season changes. Your choices stay in the current browser profile and are not sent to Holy Voltage Radio.

Find new devotionals with Signal Drops

Look for the Signal Drop card on Today. New This Week means a fresh Holy Voltage Radio Frequency is ready. Choose Open this week’s Signal to begin with day one, or See recent Drops to browse the newest and recent seven-day releases in one place.

Opening Signal Drops removes the new indicator in the current browser profile so you can tell what you have already seen. That status stays on this device and is not sent to Holy Voltage Radio. Signal Drops do not currently schedule phone notifications.

Listen hands-free with Signal Radio

Open Signal Radio from Today, then choose a seven-Signal station. Starting a station plays its first finished Ivy recording and continues to the next devotional automatically. Use Previous, Pause, Continue, or Next at any time, or choose a specific Signal from the queue.

The Broadcast Timer can stop playback after 15, 30, or 45 minutes. Closing the full Signal Radio screen does not stop the broadcast; use the small radio bar to pause or reopen it. Choose Stop Signal Radio to end hands-free continuation.

Your most recently selected station is remembered only in the current browser profile. Signal Radio uses published, finished audio files and does not send listening activity to Holy Voltage Radio.

Use Emergency Signal

Choose Help Now at the top of the app for a short grounding practice, then choose whether fear, grief, temptation, anger, exhaustion, or loneliness feels loudest. The app immediately presents a prepared prayer, one sentence to carry, and a matching finished Ivy devotional. Choose Start this Signal with Ivy to begin listening automatically.

The choice is matched on your device from a fixed Holy Voltage Radio list. It is not saved, sent, or processed by artificial intelligence.

Emergency Signal offers spiritual encouragement only. It is not emergency, medical, or mental-health care. If you may hurt yourself or someone else, or you are in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or a trusted person now.

Turn on Easy View

Choose Easy View at the top of the app. Easy View enlarges important words and controls, removes decorative motion, and presents key actions with more room. Choose the same button again to turn it off.

The setting is remembered only in the current browser profile. You can also manage it under Your Signal, inside Display and reading.

Use Signal Check-In and Days You Tuned In

Near the end of every devotional, choose Make a private Check-In. Select the answer that feels closest and optionally save one sentence you want to remember. Completing a Signal also offers this Check-In, but you can always choose Not now.

Open Your Signal and find Grace Rhythm to see Days You Tuned In and your six most recent private Check-Ins. Missing a day does not erase previous days or reset a streak. Use Remove beside an individual Check-In, or erase all local app data under Privacy & Data.

Tuned-in days and Check-Ins stay in the current browser profile. Holy Voltage Radio cannot read them, and they do not synchronize to another device.

Send a Signal to someone

Open a devotional and choose Send near the top, or choose Send this Signal to someone near the end. Pick one of the ready-made personal notes or write a short note in your own words. The preview shows the exact devotional title, pull quote, and link that will be included.

Choose Share through my phone to open your device’s share sheet, or Copy message and link to paste it somewhere yourself. Nothing sends automatically, and the app does not ask for or save a recipient. Reflections, Check-Ins, prayers, listening history, and progress are never added to the shared message.

Enter Signal Theater

Open any devotional and choose Enter Signal Theater beneath the Ivy player. Signal Cinema moves through Tune In, The Anchor, The Signal, The Charge, and Prayer as the finished recording plays. Lighting, transmission beams, color, chapter copy, and the animated Holy Voltage Radio tower change with the current scene.

Use the five chapter buttons to move to a section, drag the playback line, or use Back 15 and Forward 15. Choose Exit to return to the full devotional; Ivy can continue playing in the regular player. Signal Theater does not create a separate recording or send listening activity to Holy Voltage Radio.

Closed captions are on when you first enter. The synced transcript uses timing prepared from Ivy’s finished recording, follows her phrase by phrase, and makes the current spoken word glow orange. Use the CC On control to turn captions off; the app remembers that preference on this device.

Capture an exact listening moment

While Signal Theater is open, choose Hold This. Playback pauses and the app captures the exact words surrounding the current time in Ivy’s recording. You can add a private reflection and save the moment to Your Signal, share a branded picture, or copy the words with a link that opens the devotional at that exact listening time.

Private reflections stay in the current browser profile and are never included in shared pictures or links. Shared material contains only the published devotional words, title, Holy Voltage Radio branding, and listening time.

Use Carry Mode

Open any devotional and choose Carry Mode near the listening controls or inside Today’s Charge. Move through Ground, Carry, Pray, and Reflect for a focused version of the current Signal. You can play Ivy’s finished recording, mark the Charge carried, write in the same private reflection, complete the Signal, or share only the Charge.

Carry Mode does not create an account or send spiritual progress to Holy Voltage Radio. A shared Charge leaves the app only after you choose a destination in your device’s share sheet.

Make a reminder picture

Open Today’s Charge or the Carry step inside Carry Mode, then choose Make My Reminder Picture. This places the current devotional’s practical takeaway on a finished Holy Voltage Radio picture you can keep or send to someone. Nothing is shared automatically.

Choose Standard for texting or most social posts, or Full-screen for phone Stories. Check the preview, then choose Share picture to open your device’s share options or Save picture to keep it. The picture is built privately in your browser and is not uploaded to Holy Voltage Radio.

Print or save a Signal Guide

Open any devotional and choose Print or save this Signal as PDF near the end. The clean guide includes the full devotional teaching, biblical anchor, practical Charge, guided prayer, reflection prompts, and any reflection already saved for that Signal.

In your device’s print panel, choose a printer or Save as PDF. App navigation, listening controls, and other screen-only elements are removed automatically. Holy Voltage Radio does not receive the printed copy or PDF.

Use Prayer Pocket

Open Your Signal and find Prayer Pocket. Write a name, need, hope, or short prayer, then choose Add private prayer. Each entry links to the devotional you were carrying when you added it. You can reopen that Signal, mark the prayer answered, return it to active prayers, or remove it.

Prayer Pocket stays in the current browser profile and does not synchronize between devices. Choose Export private Prayer Pocket to create a local Markdown copy before changing devices or clearing app data.

Use Frequency Afterglow

Open Your Signal and choose a Frequency inside Frequency Afterglow. Answer any or all of the Notice, Release, and Carry prompts to name what changed across the seven days. Your responses save privately in the current browser profile as you write.

Choose Print or save as PDF for a clean personal review, or Export private Afterglow for a Markdown archive that also includes the seven Signal titles, anchors, Charges, and completion status. Holy Voltage Radio does not receive either file.

Ivy listening controls

Open a Signal and use the controls beneath the playback bar to jump back or forward 15 seconds, choose a listening speed, or turn on Continue through this Frequency. When hands-free continuation is on, Ivy moves to the next day after the current recording finishes. Your speed, continuation choice, and listening position stay on that device.

Signal Plus billing

Signal Plus checkout remains closed until active monthly and annual Stripe buttons appear in the app. When it opens, checkout takes place on Stripe’s secure website. Never send card numbers, card security codes, passwords, or identity documents by email.

A Signal Plus subscription renews automatically at the selected monthly or annual interval until canceled. Deleting The Signal’s local data or uninstalling the app does not cancel billing.

Listen offline

While connected, open a devotional and choose Save Ivy offline inside the audio player. After the download finishes, that recording can play from the same browser profile or installed app without a connection. Manage saved recordings under Your Signal. Private or incognito modes may remove cached audio automatically.

To save a full Frequency offline, open Frequencies and choose Save full Frequency offline on its card. Keep the app open while all seven finished Ivy recordings download. Use the same control to remove that Frequency later.

Plan a seven-day Frequency

Open Your Signal and find Signal Rhythm. Choose a Frequency, start date, and time, then select Create private calendar file. Open the downloaded .ics file with your preferred calendar and approve the seven events. Each event links directly to that day’s devotional and includes a ten-minute reminder.

If the calendar does not open automatically, find the .ics file in your browser’s Downloads area and choose your calendar app. Holy Voltage does not receive your date, time, or calendar selection.

Progress or reflections disappeared

The current version keeps progress and reflection text only in the browser profile where it was created. It does not synchronize between devices or browsers. Private or incognito windows may remove storage automatically, and clearing site data can erase it permanently.

Export reflections

Open Your Signal, find Privacy & Data, and choose Export my reflections. The app creates a Markdown file directly on your device. Holy Voltage Radio does not receive a copy. Store the file somewhere private if it contains personal information.

Delete app data

Open Your Signal inside the app, find Privacy & Data, and choose Erase my local app data. You can also remove the site’s stored data through your browser settings. This resets saved devotionals, progress, Charges, Prayer Pocket entries, Frequency Afterglow reviews, preferences, offline Ivy recordings, and private reflections in that browser profile.

This action does not cancel or refund a Signal Plus subscription. Manage billing separately through Stripe or contact support.
